PENOSIL Premium FireRated Gunfoam is a low-expansion fire-resistant foam aerosol for more demanding professional users. Fire resistance has been tested according to European standard EN 1366-4, and fire protection - according to standard DIN 4102-1. The fire resistance class is determined according to standard EN 13501-2.
Premium FireRated Foam is suitable for sealing works in areas where there are increased requirements for fire resistance of building materials, as well as for sealing joints in fire-resistant walls, fire-resistant doors and windows, as well as for regular sealing operations.
The foam has very good adhesion to various building materials. Cured foam is a good thermal and sound insulator.
Prior surface moistening ensures faster foam curing and better results. In cold weather, it is necessary to warm the canister in a warm room or warm water before starting work. The temperature of the heating water or air must not exceed +30 °C. Air temperature during use should be between +5 °C and +30 °C, with the best results at +20 °C.
The surfaces to be joined must be cleaned of dust, loose particles, and oil. Cured foam is sensitive to UV radiation and requires a coating.
