The wood impregnating agent “Wood Shade” is designed for decorating and protecting wooden surfaces from atmospheric effects. Thanks to wax and other additives, wood does not absorb water, becomes resistant to sunlight, and the natural aging and rot of the wood is halted.

Purpose of Use

For impregnating wooden surfaces (for example, fences, firewood sheds, decorative wells, outdoor decorative elements, outdoor shelters, etc.), providing the desired color. When used on outdoor furniture, it is recommended to topcoat horizontal surfaces with lacquer. New surfaces should be impregnated before the wood has darkened from atmospheric exposure. Surface preparation. The surface must be dry and clean. Dust, resin, grease, or other stains must be thoroughly removed. Application. Mix thoroughly before use. It is recommended to apply with a brush or roller in 1-2 coats, without leaving untreated wooden surfaces. The second coat is applied only after the first coat has completely dried.

Working Conditions

Use when the ambient temperature is +6 to +25 °C. Recommended working temperature is 18 (+-5 °C). The impregnated wood must be dry (moisture content - less than 15 percent). High humidity negatively affects the quality of impregnation.

Drying Time. Does not stick to touch after 2 hours (if air temperature is +20 °C and relative humidity is 65 percent). Fully dries after 12-24 hours. Yield. Approximately 14-18 m2/l (depending on wood surface preparation).
