LOCTITE® universal super glues Original are single-component, fast-drying, liquid, colorless glue. The glue is designed for household use and adheres firmly to various commonly used materials. It is best suited for gluing plastic, rubber, metal, wood, ceramics, leather, fabrics, cardboard, and paper. Curing speed: initial bond formation occurs in 5–30 seconds depending on the type of substrate. Bond strength (ISO 4587): 10–20 N/mm² (shear strength) within 12–24 hours depending on the substrate. Resistant to low temperatures (down to -50 °C) and briefly to higher temperatures (up to +120 °C). Impact-resistant: when bonded with aluminum, withstands more than 50 drops from a height of 1 meter onto a concrete surface. Not suitable for gluing polypropylene, polyethylene, PTFE, silicone rubber, glass, lacquered surfaces, very soft leather, or foam. Never use glue for bonding parts that will be used to hold hot liquids, as well as for parts that will be subjected to high-temperature exposure for extended periods.
