DESCRIPTION
Ceresit CT 16 simplifies the application of thin-layer plaster and other plasters indoors and outdoors. Recommended for priming reinforced layers within the Ceresit Ceretherm ETICS (external thermal insulation composite systems) and for priming traditional plasters. The CT 16 paint can be applied to chipboards, gypsum boards, gypsum plasters, all types of concrete, and durable painted surfaces. Priming the substrate with CT 16 significantly reduces its absorption capacity, preventing the applied products from drying too quickly. The fine fillers integrated into CT 16 make the primed surfaces rough and resistant to scratches. The developed surface increases the adhesion of plasters, fillers, and paints. This product has strong covering properties, making the substrate homogeneous, thus preventing any stains from forming on colored acrylic, mineral, and silicone plasters.
For reinforcing absorbent substrates and plasters indoors and outdoors, Ceresit CT 14 or CT 17 should be used.
